when I got cancer about 7 or so years ago I found that I couldn’t wear any rings due to a rash that would show up on my hands. So I just quit wearing one… my man doesn’t wear his because of his work so why should I wear mine. He doesn’t seem to care that I don’t wear it…

yes my original set was damaged when i was moving some 2x4s with my husband and we could not afford to buy new ones with real diamonds so we got me a nice set with cubic zirconium

mine doesn’t even fit anymore as i have gained weight.so i can’t even wear it.ever time i get it sized i get fater..lol..oh well.

I changed mine every ten yrs I’ve been married for 25 yrs. I also have them blessed.

mine is the same. it’s very sentimental to me and I can’t see ever changing it. memories are there.
but his wedding band I wish he would let me buy him a new one! I didn’t have alot of money when I bought his but he I guess is sentimental about it like me and doesn’t want to get a new one.

I was actually thinking of getting a replacement for mine and putting my original set away. My rings aren’t ancient (11 yrs), but I’m afraid I’m going to lose the center diamond, and since I want to give them to my daughter some day, I was thinking of replacing it with a nice fake (as close to mine as I can find). They have come a long way with created diamonds these days.
My mom got a new diamond set on her 20th anniversary, so she would have a set to leave to each of her daughters.
To replace or not replace is a personal choice – imho..

I had to. I am allergic to yellow gold and my ring finger would get raw and bloody. So I also had a sterling silver band. After my husband died, I started wearing the silver one all the time.

Nope i have always been happy with mine and yea sure its little and probably not to expensive but i never cared about have a big flashy engagement ring or wedding ring.
I dont know and never asked my husband how much my rings cost cause i didn’t care about how much or how little they cost.
